Project

Wine has been a source of inspiration for artists from all genres throughout history. In this programme we wanted to bring together the works that various poets and musicians have dedicated to the much valued fruit of the vine. The selection incorporates poems and songs of distinguished masters along a journey from the 12th century to the modern day. It is an original programme outright, as all of the works have wine as the common theme in various languages: Catalan, Spanish, Basque, Galician, Latin, French, English and Portuguese.

The performance will be conducted by Coro Sine Nomine with piano accompaniment and with original percussion instruments based on elements related to wine harvest: glasses, barrels, tasting glasses, venencias...
